Acronis joins Zavrni Rukave initiative: cleaning up Serbia’s cities amidst rain

In the midst of heavy rain on March 24, 2024, a team of ten individuals from Acronis, along with their family members, braved the elements to participate in the nationwide initiative, Zavrni Rukave. This commendable effort was not only about beautifying Serbian cities but also aimed at addressing the pressing issue of unregulated landfills and garbage plaguing our urban landscapes and natural areas.

Despite the adverse weather conditions, the Acronis team remained undeterred, showing up with enthusiasm and determination to make a positive impact. Their chosen locations for cleanup were Sajamski Park and Block 45 of Belgrade, where they diligently worked to rid the areas of litter and debris. Due to their hard work and dedication, approximately 100 kilograms of trash were collected at both locations.

As we express our gratitude to the volunteers who dedicated their time and efforts to this cause, let us also recognize the importance of ongoing initiatives like Zavrni Rukave in fostering a cleaner, healthier environment for all. Together, through small yet impactful actions, we can make a difference in the world around us.

Kudos to the Acronis team and all the volunteers involved for their inspiring dedication to creating a cleaner and more sustainable future for Serbia and beyond!
