Building a more knowledgeable future
Knowledge should be available to all
To mark its 15th anniversary, the software company expanded its commitment to knowledge by establishing a nonprofit foundation that:

Creates knowledge

It's like a diamond – very durable, but it can be damaged if not handled correctly. It needs to be protected and cultivated for the future by those who will be there.

Knowledge needs to be protected

It's like a diamond – very durable, but it can be damaged if not handled correctly. To become brilliant, it needs care and polishing. At the same time, knowledge is as changeable as life itself. It constantly evolves in an endless process that corrects mistakes and creates new understanding. It needs to be protected and cultivated for the future by those who will be there.

Knowledge is an adventure

Often adventures of the mind are more interesting than those of the body. Gaining knowledge is the highest form of human activity because, in the end, all we leave behind is either knowledge or ignorance, a positive or a negative, something or nothing

Knowledge is neutral and independent

Knowledge doesn't care about your age, gender, race, orientation, finances, or political or religious beliefs. It accepts you as you are and will never leave you. Knowledge will be always with you, serving you faithfully all your life. Knowledge is a best friend.

Spreads knowledge

Knowledge is THE answer. If anything can save humanity from our endless problems, it is knowledge. If anything will bring us to other planets or help to defeat disease, poverty, and death, it will be knowledge.

We think knowledge is priceless. It the most valuable asset of humankind.
We often take knowledge for granted. It takes knowledge to create electricity, for example, and without it we would be living as they did over a hundred years ago. If a knowledge blackout occurs someday, we will find ourselves in the dark ages. That is why we can never let this happen. Ignorance is evil. It can take civilizations into oblivion, losing centuries of advancements and costing millions of lives. Ignorance is death, disease, and war.

Knowledge is alive and animated. It survives through the belief and hard work of those who nurture it through the millennia, constantly moving civilization forward. Knowledge is a way to reach beyond the horizon, because while you never know for sure what your work will result in after you are gone, you believe in others who will follow and use knowledge to build upon your work. Our task is to preserve and develop the work of those who have devoted their lives to knowledge.

Protects knowledge

This is us. Acronis is the knowledge ambassador in our wonderful world.

Knowledge is universal and qualitative.

It works on any continent and on any planet where humanity’s footprint will first appear. No matter how far civilization will go, it will always stand on the shoulders of those who created, defended, and spread knowledge. Given its universality, we support the right of everyone to access knowledge – as well as the modern technologies that can bring knowledge to all.

Knowledge saves lives.

We see how wonderful professionals can grow up in poor areas and thrive because they have access to books. We know how yesterday's criminal can change when they embrace knowledge – creating families, businesses, and become successful people. Incurable diseases become curable, the impossible becomes possible right before our eyes, and everyday things gain new meaning through knowledge.

Serving to knowledge requires time, concentration, effort, but perhaps it is the only thing that really makes sense in our strange reality.

We invite you to join us!
