This spring, Acronis continued its collaboration with ReDI School of Digital Integration, an NGO dedicated to empowering newcomers in Germany through digital education. Our volunteers once again stepped forward to share their time, expertise, and hearts with students eager to learn, grow, and thrive.

Seven Acronis team members participated in this semester’s program, bringing a wide range of support to the classroom and beyond. On Saturdays, our volunteers led digital literacy sessions as part of ReDI’s foundational training, helping students build essential technical skills. These weekend classes reached 40 learners and opened doors to further exploration in the world of technology.
In addition to the core digital curriculum, our volunteers once again supported ReDI School’s long-standing soft skills training. For the third semester in a row, one of our dedicated volunteers — Senior HR Director and HRBP at Acronis, Zlatka Loukarsky — led the workshops “Tips and Tricks for CV Writing” and “Preparing for a Job Interview.” These sessions remain a vital part of the program, helping students gain confidence and develop practical strategies for entering the job market. Zlatka provided hands-on feedback and guidance, sharing real-life insights from the world of work in Germany.
One of the most meaningful aspects of this semester was the mentorship program. For both the mentors and mentees, this experience became far more than just coaching. It turned into a heartfelt exchange, a journey of mutual growth. Mentors and students developed strong, personal bonds — in many cases becoming true friends. Students shared their successes directly with their mentors, proudly telling how they had found jobs or training placements. These stories were incredibly moving for our team and reminded us all of the power of connection and encouragement.
“As a mentor, I support women with a migration background in navigating the German job market by helping them tailor their resumes, stay motivated, and confidently apply for roles that match their skills,” shared Elena Belousova, Manager of Cloud Operations at Acronis and one of our dedicated volunteers. “It’s about more than job applications — it’s about building confidence and helping each woman recognize her value.” Diana Sauerbrey, Sports Account Executive at Acronis, who also mentored in this semester’s program, added: “To see such a transformation in our mentees — from hesitant to empowered — was truly inspiring. We focused not only on technical readiness but also on nurturing the courage to dream big and take bold steps forward. That mutual growth made every moment meaningful.”
Thanks to the generous grant of CVC, we were able to fund the full participation of 10 students in the ReDI program this term. Altogether, 76 students benefited from the spring semester’s activities — a powerful testament to what consistent collaboration can achieve.

Looking ahead, we are excited to continue supporting ReDI School. This autumn, we are planning a company visit to the Acronis office in Munich. This will give students the chance to meet even more team members, explore career paths, and see what working in a tech company looks like from the inside.
We’re grateful to everyone who gave their time and heart to this initiative. With every class taught, every workshop led, and every message exchanged between mentor and student, we’re building a more inclusive and supportive future for all.
