On September 20, Acronis colleagues in Spain joined the World Cleanup Day challenge with a beach cleanup in Badalona, just outside Barcelona.

The team concentrated their efforts on removing cigarette waste, one of the most harmful forms of litter for the environment and marine life. By the end of the day, they had collected 4 kg of waste, leaving the coastline cleaner and safer.

More importantly, this participation in the World Cleanup Day challenge marks the beginning of Acronis Foundation Ambassadors’ actions in Spain. It is the first step in a journey of community involvement and sustainability, showing how even small actions can spark meaningful change.
