In December, our team partnered with Make-A-Wish to create a special experience for children undergoing medical treatment in Bogotá.

The day began with volunteers reflecting on their childhood dreams, writing them on paper airplanes, and sharing stories – a simple yet powerful reminder of the importance of hope.

Make-A-Wish then introduced the “Capture” activity, guiding our volunteers on how to uncover each child’s unique wish. When the children arrived, they engaged in warm conversations using a questionnaire about their favorite colors, superheroes, hobbies, and, most importantly, their dream. Toys in the room helped create a playful and comfortable environment. Thanks to our participation, some of these dreams will soon come true.

After gathering this information, our team said goodbye to the children and closed the day with a team reflection on the experience and future volunteering opportunities.
