Growing together: Baby oaks project continues to thrive

This December, our baby oaks initiative reached another exciting milestone! Fourth-grade students enthusiastically planted 200 acorns, contributing to a greener future while learning about sustainability in a hands-on way.

The energy and joy were contagious – these young environmentalists were thrilled to welcome us back and actively participate in the project.

Looking ahead, January brings a creative twist: decorating the raised beds to inform other students about the project and its purpose. This step will make the space more engaging and educational, ensuring that everyone understands the importance of nurturing nature.

With these activities, we’re building a repeatable program that can be implemented year after year across multiple schools, fostering environmental awareness and responsibility from an early age. Together, we’re planting seeds of change! 🌱
