On February 11, one of our ambassador in the UK visited Long Close School in Slough, Berkshire, to deliver a cyber safety and data protection session to GCSE (General Certificate of Secondary Education) business students in years 10 and 11.

Speaking to students aged 14–16, Harpal shared the evolution of Acronis’ data protection services and explained how cyber threats have transformed over the past decade. The session connected real-world cybersecurity challenges with key elements of the GCSE Business curriculum, including innovation, market adaptation, and responsible technology leadership.
Students explored how businesses respond to emerging digital risks, how trust is built through strong data protection, and why cyber resilience is now a strategic priority for organizations of all sizes.
The visit highlighted how industry expertise can bring classroom learning to life while equipping young people with practical awareness of online safety – an increasingly critical life skill in a digital-first world.💙
