The SOC Amplify course is a training program aimed at increasing the number of cybersecurity professionals. It teaches technical skills and critical thinking, allowing participants to fast-track into a cybersecurity career.
The course covers cybersecurity concepts and best practices, provides hands-on training in cybersecurity tools and techniques, and prepares participants to become SOC analysts or engineers.
Kevin Reed, the instructor of SOC Amplify course, is an experienced cybersecurity professional with more than 20 years of expertise. He is currently the CISO at Acronis, where he develops security solutions and leads the company’s CPOCs worldwide.
Kevin is renowned globally as a thought leader in cybersecurity and has taught security, cryptography, and networking courses at various universities.
SOC stands for Security Operations Center, which is a team of security professionals who work together to stay ahead of cybercriminals. There is no typical workday in the SOC, as security incidents are unpredictable.
SOC analysts and engineers are often the first to respond to cyber attacks and are responsible for preventing data breaches and securing computer systems. Their work is critical for the smooth operation of businesses and industries of all sizes.
