Project implementation
Niger ranks 189 out of 191 countries on the United Nations Human Development Index (HDI) and consistently holds the lowest position in the Education Index. With only 51% of children attending primary school and 19% attending secondary school, the average years of schooling is just 2.1 years.
To address these challenges, the Acronis Cyber Foundation Program, in partnership with Groundbreaker and Remember Niger, is working to improve educational infrastructure at a girls’ school in Kollo. Now in its second year, the school has 39 students enrolled. Together with our like-minded partners, we aim to equip the school with a resource center to support computer literacy classes and teacher training, provide learning tools and RACHEL systems for greater access to resources, and create the necessary physical space to house these resources. Join us in this mission to provide better learning and life opportunities for the girls!
