On Saturday, November 9, 2024, the Acronis Bulgaria team returned to Vrana Park in Sofia to lend a hand in maintaining this beautiful historic site. Team members dedicated their day to planting bushes in front of the picturesque Vrana Palace and cutting ivy. Their commitment to environmental stewardship was met with additional support from students of the American College of Sofia, whose participation was organized by the college’s club “Donation Station”. With 20+ volunteers in total, the group both enjoyed the crisp autumn day outdoors and contributed to keeping Vrana Park a welcoming and serene space for the community. It was a wonderful example of teamwork and community involvement, showing how collaboration between companies and local organizations can make a lasting impact on our shared spaces.
“Volunteering together was more than just planting bushes and clearing ivy—it was about building a bond for change. The enthusiasm of the American College students energized our team, making the day both impactful and joyful. Exploring the greenhouse with them was a special reminder of nature’s beauty and our shared responsibility to protect it. We look forward to future collaborations that unite our community’s passion for the environment with the power of teamwork to make a lasting difference,” said Desislava Lazarova, Senior Support Trainer at Acronis.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers from Acronis Bulgaria and the American College of Sofia for their time, hard work, and dedication to preserving Vrana Park’s natural beauty. Your contributions are invaluable in supporting environmental preservation and making our community a greener, more vibrant place for everyone. Thank you for making a difference!
