On March 18, 2025, three dedicated Acronis volunteers visited 134 Secondary School “Dimcho Debelyanov” in Sofia to conduct a dynamic and engaging cyber safety class for 60 students aged 12–13. Split across three sessions, the training aimed to empower young minds with essential digital literacy skills and practical knowledge to stay safe online.

Through interactive discussions and real-life scenarios, the students explored the double-edged nature of the internet — its immense opportunities and hidden threats. They learned how to identify online scams, protect their personal information, and create strong passwords. Special attention was given to the concept of digital footprints, cyberbullying, and responsible sharing on social media.
To keep the learning experience fun and memorable, the sessions also included quizzes and examples that encouraged the students to think critically about their online behavior and choices. The young participants left not only more informed, but also more confident in their ability to navigate the digital world safely.

This initiative is part of Acronis’ ongoing mission to promote cyber awareness among youth and support safer digital communities everywhere.
Huge thanks to our amazing volunteers for their time, energy, and dedication to educating the next generation. Your passion for cyber safety truly makes a difference!
