Empowering students with cyber safety skills at Orchid International School in Bangalore in India

As part of the Acronis Cyber Foundation Program’s commitment to digital education, two cyber safety awareness sessions were recently conducted at the Orchid International School – BTM Branch in Bangalore on November 13.

The sessions reached more than 90 grade 8 students and focused on essential topics such as understanding online risks, protecting personal information, safe social media behavior, identifying cyber threats, and building healthy digital habits. The students actively participated throughout the sessions and demonstrated strong curiosity during the concluding Q&A activity. To encourage continued engagement, certificates and small rewards were presented to the top three students who achieved the highest scores.

Following the positive reception, the school requested additional sessions for other grade levels, underscoring the growing importance of cyber safety education in today’s learning environments.

These workshops are a good way to support schools in fostering digital literacy and helping young learners navigate the online world safely and responsibly. We are proud and thankful to our Indian Foundation Ambassadors for driving these actions in India.
