Dong Na Kham Primary School in Laos continues to thrive

In December 2019, Dong Na Kham Primary School officially opened its doors in Laos. Supported by Acronis and built under the coordination of Child’s Dream Foundation, the new school replaced an aging wooden facility that had fallen into poor condition and no longer provided children with a safe environment in which to study.

At the time of its opening, the new building provided 115 children with a safer and more comfortable learning environment. It included five spacious classrooms and four bathrooms, creating better conditions for both students and teachers.

We are delighted to share a recent update from the school. Today, Dong Na Kham Primary School serves 95 students in Grades 1 through 5, supported by five dedicated teachers. The school community continues to take great care of the building. Students and teachers decorate the classrooms with handmade creations and carry out regular maintenance to keep the facilities welcoming and well preserved. They have also transformed the area outside the school by creating a beautiful lawn and planting trees in front of the building.

It is wonderful to see the school continuing to support children’s education while remaining a place that the entire community values and cares for. We wish the students, teachers, and families of Dong Na Kham continued success and many more inspiring years of learning together.
