RNT Rausch and Acronis Cyber Foundation opens the Dominican Republic school

We are excited to share that the school in the Dominican Republic is officially opened on 11 June 2022!

Acronis Cyber Foundation is committed to education worldwide and our partner, RNT Rausch GmbH, shares the same belief. Working together in Los Maranitos, the Dominican Republic, made a difference to the remote mountain community.

The educational center in Los Maranitos is a safe haven for young girls and boys, where they can grow up and develop their potential and help break the cycle of generational poverty through education for 150 children aged 4 to 17 years old. The improved facilities create a better learning environment for the children and also offer education for 1,000 adult villagers and collaboration with local artists in the region.

The Acronis Cyber Foundation represents the same values that encouraged me to build the school in a village in the Dominican Republic. We are convinced that problems such as poverty and hunger can only be solved sustainably through education. That is why education must be available to everyone all over the world. I’m glad that we have been able to partner with Acronis and are now working together towards this goal.”
