The first Acronis SCSVets veteran students graduation

Acronis Cyber Foundation, together with our associate company Acronis SCS, is proud to share that the first cohort of fourteen veteran students of the Acronis SCSVets graduated on May 19, 2020. At the virtual ceremony, these graduates were recognized for having achieved internationally-recognized credentials and skills that are needed to thrive in self-sustaining cyber careers.

Acronis SCSVets, a Scottsdale-based nonprofit is dedicated to helping veterans build a career in cybersecurity, whether at Acronis SCS or other small-to-medium businesses. It also seeks to narrow Arizona’s cyber workforce shortage by empowering veterans, active-duty military, and military spouses with the credentials, skills, and resources they need to pursue a cybersecurity career – all at zero cost to them.

Unlike other programs that prioritize online learning, Acronis SCSVets’ unique, scalable, and high-touch program utilizes community-oriented partners to provide tailored cyber training and a comprehensive support system that meet the needs of each veteran and military community.
