What can you expect at the Acronis Cyber Foundation Charity Event 2020?

Since its launch in 2018, the Acronis Cyber Foundation has committed to gain and protect knowledge and to make it available to all globally. We have reached seventeen countries in four continents, with over 3,300+ lives impacted. In 2019, we organized our first Charity Reception during the annual Acronis Global Cyber Summit held in Miami and raised over US$30,000 to construct a new school in Nicaragua.

We recognize that this year’s Charity Event was not typical, but in changing this year’s platform we will be able to protect the health of our guests and donors and also direct more funds raised to our schools – who need our help now more than ever.

This year, the Charity Event will feature more than 60 fantastic items for auction, including many one-of-a-kind sports experiences, exciting vacations, autographed memorabilia, fine wine and more. Our generous partners and individuals donated these items, allowing all of the proceeds to go directly to the Schools Initiative.

Here, we highlight two of the auction items.

Winemaker for a day experience in Napa Valley

Learn the art of winemaking while blending your own red wine from Napa’s esteemed appellations. This is a fantastic opportunity for any wine enthusiast to make a wine that is truly their very own. Following the blending session, you will take home a bottle of your blend that day with your own custom label. Moreover, you can order a case of your personally-crafted wine to share with friends and family at any time. Stay at the luxurious Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn, and enjoy all that Napa Valley has to offer.

Compass Long Necklace from Carrie K

Journey is a collaboration between Paige Parker and Carrie K., drawing inspiration from her Guinness World Record-setting road trip across 116 countries over 6 continents and 3 years. The message behind this collection is to chart your own journey, and in hoping to empower other women to do so.

The Compass Long Necklace 61cm (24″) features an eight-point compass pendant with a 5mm London Blue Topazvgemstone set on a white topaz bezel, encapsulated by another brilliant white topaz halo. The compass pendant drops close to our “inner compass” – reminding us to be courageous and perseverant in our own journeys.
