Students from Pathlight School’s industrial visit to Acronis Singapore

An inclusive digital society requires everyone to play a part, and Acronis Cyber Foundation believes that building that inclusive digital society requires everyone to play a role. As part of our outreach to help the youth pick up practical digital skills and explore new ways where digital and tech can enrich lives, we partnered with the Association of Information Security Professionals (AiSP) to host a group of 45 students and teachers from Pathlight School in Acronis Singapore office on 26 May 2022.

Industrial visits are an essential part of the academic curriculum that gives students first-hand exposure to real working environments and a practical perspective of meeting the professionals in different business operations and processes performed at the workplace. Beyond classroom learning, industrial visits also contribute to holistic student development by letting students learn about the current trends in the market, the industry’s future scenario, and the new technologies being applied in the industry.

Acronis Cyber Foundation hopes to enable seniors, youth and those with special needs to learn the importance of cyber security and cyber wellness through webinars, roadshows and online learning resources. Working with various organizations, such as AiSP’s Cyber Wellness project, we have been actively promoting cyber literacy and education for youth communities in Singapore – and around the world.
