In a bid to foster a greener and more sustainable environment, the Acronis team in Serbia has been actively engaging in community initiatives centered around tree planting. With a commitment to environmental stewardship, the team embarked on a series of tree planting events, leaving a lasting impact on their communities (read here about their first tree-planting event).

On March 16th, a group of 12 volunteers comprising Acronis team members and their families gathered to plant 50 trees in a public park and a kindergarten “Vrtić Izvorcic” in Belgrade. Their efforts aimed not only to enhance the beauty of these spaces but also to contribute to the local ecosystem and provide a greener environment for future generations to enjoy.

Continuing their green mission, on March 22nd, 8 Acronis team members and their families extended their planting endeavors by adding 30 trees to the landscapes of two primary schools, “Nikola Tesla” and “Dušan Radović” in Novi Sad. By greening the school grounds, they hoped to create healthier and more inspiring learning environments for the students.

The Acronis team plans to maintain their momentum by organizing one more small tree planting event in April before closing the planting season until autumn. Additionally, the team goes beyond tree planting by taking the opportunity to clean up the territories where they plant, ensuring that the environments remain free from litter and pollution.
