At Acronis, we don’t just protect the digital world—we care about the real world, too! On Saturday, February 22, 2025, a dedicated team of seven Acronis volunteers from our Tempe office came together for a cleanup event at Tempe Town Lake, joining forces with #KeepTempeBeautiful and other community volunteers to make a tangible impact on our local environment.

Rolling up our sleeves, we tackled a variety of tasks, including picking up trash and litter, removing weeds, raking decomposed granite and sand areas, and weeping walkable paths. Together, they collected an impressive 194.5 pounds (88 kg) of waste, including 46.5 pounds of recyclables diverted from landfills and 0.5 pounds of cigarette butts.

Beyond the numbers, the event was a powerful reminder that small actions, when done together, create lasting change. The enthusiasm and teamwork displayed were truly inspiring, and the team shared that they were proud to work at a company that not only leads in cyber protection but also prioritizes environmental responsibility.

Seeing the impact of their efforts, our Tempe team is eager to make this a quarterly tradition—committing to regular cleanups and meaningful actions to protect our planet.
