At Acronis, we believe in action that drives change — and our team in Japan has stepped up, quite literally, to show support for a cause that matters deeply.
From March through May 2025, Acronis Japan joined Walk in Her Shoes 2025, a global charity campaign led by the Japan Foundation. This initiative raises awareness of the daily challenges faced by women and girls in developing countries — many of whom must walk long distances every day to access essential resources like water.

As part of this global movement, the Acronis Japan team contributed more than 10.5 million steps, helping advance the worldwide goal of 14 billion steps. By the end of May, over 2,480 participants had joined the challenge — and Acronis Japan proudly ranked 19th out of 82 teams.
Reflecting on the experience, Tetsuro Kawasaki, General Manager of Acronis Japan, shared:
“It was truly meaningful to take part in this initiative alongside the Japan team. I look forward to participating in more activities like this in the future, and I sincerely thank everyone who joined us.”
To strengthen our commitment and team spirit, we also organized a special group walk event, bringing colleagues together in support of this important cause.
Every step taken moves us closer to equality, access, and dignity for all. 💫

Acronis Cyber Foundation Program welcomes individuals, groups, and companies to partner with us to work side-by-side with underserved communities to bring them hope through education.
