On the path to a safer digital future for Romanian children

As part of our ongoing commitment to building a safer digital future, the Acronis Cyber Foundation Program, in partnership with certSIGN, recently hosted two engaging cyber safety workshops for students from School 28 in Bucharest. Held at the prestigious National Banking Institute, the sessions reached a total of 83 children, equipping them with essential knowledge to navigate the digital world more safely and confidently.

With children spending increasing amounts of time online, teaching them how to recognize digital threats, protect their personal information, and respond to cyberbullying is more critical than ever. These workshops focused on practical tips for safe internet use while also encouraging thoughtful discussions around cyber ethics and respectful online behavior. The students were highly engaged throughout, demonstrating curiosity, insight, and a strong willingness to learn.

These sessions form part of a broader mission to deliver impactful cyber education across Romania. By reaching young learners early, we aim to empower them with the skills and awareness they need to become responsible digital citizens — and potentially, future leaders in technology.

We are deeply grateful to our like-minded partner certSIGN for their support and collaboration. Together, we are helping shape a generation that is not only digitally connected but also digitally protected.
