Building cyber safety awareness together in Schaffhausen

Strong community partnerships help build digital resilience from an early age. Since 2022, Acronis has collaborated with go tec!, a STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education initiative in Schaffhausen that introduces children to technology, robotics, and engineering through hands-on learning.

As part of this partnership, Acronis Cyber Foundation Program volunteers regularly host cyber safety workshops for children and their families in Schaffhausen. During the latest session, 25 children aged 10–12 and their parents joined an interactive class exploring how to recognize phishing attempts, protect personal information online, and develop responsible digital habits.

The workshop was delivered by Markus Bauer, Senior Evangelist, who led the session and shared practical insights on staying safe online.

Through continued collaboration with go tec!, Acronis helps equip young digital citizens and their families with the knowledge they need to navigate the digital world safely.💙
