In May 2026, Acronis, together with NetFusion, will celebrate an exciting milestone in our shared mission to expand access to quality digital education. We are proud to announce the official opening of a new robotics and STEAM lab at ChildHope School in Los Cuadros, San José, Costa Rica — and we warmly invite our partners to join us for this special occasion.

ChildHope School serves hundreds of students from underserved communities, many of whom rely on scholarships to access education. The new robotics lab is designed to provide hands-on, practical learning experiences that foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Through interactive STEAM education, students will gain essential digital and technical competencies that will help shape their future opportunities.
The opening ceremony will take place on May 5, 2026, bringing together representatives from Acronis, NetFusion, and our valued partners. Guests will have the opportunity to visit the school, meet students and teachers, and experience firsthand how technology can transform learning environments and inspire the next generation.
How partners can contribute
While joining the opening is already meaningful, partners who wish to further support the initiative are welcome to bring small gifts for students, such as school supplies, STEM / engineering sets for kids, or books. Donating refurbished laptops, tablets, or educational equipment to enhance the lab’s capabilities is also more than welcome. These contributions are entirely optional but can make a lasting difference in the students’ learning experience.
Why participate
By joining the opening ceremony, partners will:
– Support a high-impact educational initiative benefiting over 200 children and generations to come
– Experience a meaningful program rooted in community impact and collaboration
– Be recognized as supporting partners across Acronis communication channels
– Receive professional event content for their own CSR and marketing use
– Get an opportunity to bring their employees, friends or family members to this meaningful event
Partners are responsible for ground transportation within Costa Rica (the school is within 30 min drive from San Jose city center), international flights, accommodation, and travel insurance.
We would be delighted to have you join us for this important milestone. For more information or to express your interest, please contact us at foundation@acronis.org.
