On July 24, Acronis celebrated the graduation of 31 participants from the 2026 IT Skills Program in Schaffhausen, Switzerland – home to Acronis’ corporate headquarters. Delivered in collaboration with Integres, the Integration Office of the Canton of Schaffhausen, and supported by Swiss Acronis MSP partners novalink GmbH, Unimission AG, and JH Vision GmbH, the program helps people with migration backgrounds build practical digital and professional skills. For a company with European roots, giving back begins with the community closest to home.

Over two weeks, participants aged 18 to 57, representing Afghanistan, Ukraine, Eritrea, Turkey, Somalia, South Sudan, Gambia, and North Macedonia, completed training covering computer literacy, cyber safety, Microsoft Office applications, AI tools, business communication, CV writing, interview preparation, and LinkedIn for job seekers.

The program was made possible through the dedication of five Acronis employee volunteers: Avivit Neeman, Damaris Engler, Lia Kasapova, Markus Bauer, and Sabine Mende.

They were joined by Swiss Acronis MSP partners Marco Büchel (novalink GmbH), Ramona Szilveszter (Unimission AG), and Hyrije Ismaili (JH Vision GmbH), who shared their expertise and practical experience throughout the program. Together, they helped participants strengthen their digital literacy, improve their career readiness, and gain confidence for the future.

This year’s cohort included 31 graduates, 16 women and 15 men, representing eight countries of origin and a wide range of professional and educational backgrounds.

The graduation ceremony marked the end of two weeks of learning and the beginning of new opportunities. Guided by the belief that knowledge should be available to all, the Acronis Cyber Foundation Program continues to support individuals and communities through education, volunteering, and local partnerships – starting at home in Switzerland and extending across the world.
