On September 2, Rares Matei, Foundation Ambassador in Romania, delivered a series of cyber safety workshops focused on AI for teachers at Laude-Reut in Bucharest, Romania.

The initiative consisted of four training sessions lasting 1.5 hours each, totaling six hours of learning and discussion. In all, 105 teachers participated in the program, gaining insights into cyber safety topics and exploring how artificial intelligence can support educational environments.

As AI continues to shape the way we live, work, and learn, providing educators with practical knowledge and awareness is increasingly important. Through these workshops, participants had the opportunity to strengthen their understanding of digital safety considerations while discussing the opportunities and challenges that AI presents in schools.

The positive feedback from participants highlighted the value of the sessions. One teacher noted:

The training contained a wealth of practical information, including recommendations on browsers and password managers that could be applied immediately. I personally made several changes as a result of this training, which reflects its success.

This initiative demonstrates the value of equipping educators with the tools and knowledge needed to navigate an evolving digital landscape and support the next generation of learners.
