On September 26, Acronis Cyber Foundation Ambassador Jeffrey Low helped deliver a cyber safety awareness session for approximately 30 seniors in Malaysia as part of a community program organized with local resident associations.

The two-hour session focused on practical cybersecurity knowledge that participants could apply in their daily lives. Topics included real-life scam examples, the risks of clicking suspicious links, and how to recognize QR code scams. The event also encouraged active participation through an interactive Q&A session, a Kahoot quiz, and a “Fun Wheel of Cyber Threats” activity.
To make learning engaging and accessible, attendees received Acronis goodie bags containing cybersecurity information materials and educational resources. Lunch was also provided, creating an opportunity for community engagement following the Mid-Autumn Festival period.

As cyber threats continue to affect people of all ages, initiatives like this help community members build the knowledge and confidence needed to protect themselves and their families online.
