Our NGO partner in Peru, Nuevo Chimbote, shared with us some wonderful photos of the school community receiving the face masks, food and homeschooling packages.

Many families are glad to receive the much-needed food packages which contain essentials like rice, noodles, flour and cereals. The school remains closed but the children receive homeschooling kits every 15 days. Teachers also keep in touch with them via Whatsapp to discuss the exercises.

One of the cheapest and most efficient ways to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus is regular handwashing with soap and water. For many of the children and their families, basic, yet essential, supplies and protective equipment remain out of reach.
