Since we launched the initiative to build schools in developing countries back in 2018 to mark Acronis’s 15th anniversary, we received many requests from partners to join the initiative. Therefore our Founder Serguei Beloussov together with fellow IT entrepreneur Jochen Berger decided to create Entrepreneurs for Knowledge gGmbH – an independent charity organization registered in Germany.
With the concept “Foundation as a Service” EFK supports companies to effortlessly create educational opportunities for underprivileged children worldwide. The free service provided to the companies creates a win-win situation for donors and the children in the school projects. By now over 26 school projects have already been realized.
Acronis Cyber Foundation is partnering with EFK to find sustainable school projects in different countries and to ensure its successful implementation. This collaboration increases the impact and scale of the Acronis Schools Initiative – giving as many children as possible the chance to gain access to knowledge and break the cycle of poverty. With the right help, philanthropic projects can become a great experience in giving back to the community for any company.
