Celebrating Bulgaria’s legacy of innovation: Acronis honors pioneering Bulgarian scientists and their world-changing discoveries


In Bulgaria, November 1st holds a special place as a national holiday dedicated to honoring the educators and scholars who have significantly shaped the spiritual values and cultural identity of the nation. This day is a heartfelt commemoration of the leaders of the Bulgarian revival, intellectuals, innovators, and men and women of science and literature.

Recognizing the importance of this day, the Acronis team took a meaningful step to celebrate by setting up informative boards at the elementary and secondary School 34, “Stoyu Shishkov,” in Sofia. These boards showcased the remarkable discoveries of Bulgarian scientists, each of which left an indelible mark on the world.

The team’s goal was simple yet profound: to illuminate the minds of future generations about the significance of Bulgaria’s most important contributions to science and culture. The content was crafted to be accessible and engaging, making it an enjoyable learning experience for students.
