Women’s History Month at the Acronis Cyber Foundation Program: meet Ines Meiller

“To be an Ambassador of the Acronis Cyber Foundation Program in my region is a chance to make a meaningful impact on my country and its people. I encourage everyone to engage in this kind of activity, and it’s nice to have the support of company and colleagues,” says Ines Meiller, Partner Portal Content Manager and ambassador of Acronis’ social mission in Argentina.

The first time Ines got involved in volunteering her time and experience with the Acronis Cyber Foundation Program was when she learned about our collaborative effort to build a school alongside LAN Infotech in the Misiones province of Argentina. The school is to be built in a very remote village with no electricity and the nearest school is 40 km away. The village is home to 50 boys and girls of school age who have never attended a school and now have to study outdoors. Unable to ignore the situation, Ines offered her support, leading multiple calls and meetings with business partners and colleagues. Through creative ideas and an extensive digital campaign, including collaboration with Manchester City F.C., the school is now set to be built, marking 2024 as the first year these 50 children will attend a real school.

By the way, watch one of the clips that Ines created to raise funds for the school:

Ines also took part in Acronis’ 2023 holiday campaign and helped bring joy to two girls and their mom, making their wishes come true.

Thank you, Ines, for making a difference in people’s lives! We hope that your big heart will continue to bring happiness to many more individuals in Argentina in the years to come.
