Advancing Singapore’s AI engineering community through knowledge sharing

On February 25, Acronis Singapore hosted an Agentic Engineering lecture led by Sergey Saburov, welcoming 60–70 engineers onsite and 30–40 participants online. The session focused on advancing practical AI-assisted software development capabilities within Singapore’s growing tech talent community.

Participants — primarily early- to mid-career software engineers — explored spec-driven development approaches such as Cyber Pilot, BMAD, and OpenSpec. Discussions centered on aligning AI-generated code with architectural requirements, accelerating development cycles responsibly, and maintaining developer flow in increasingly AI-powered environments.

By opening space for deep technical exchange across companies and roles, the session contributed to strengthening local engineering capability and fostering peer-level knowledge sharing. Initiatives like this support the long-term development of Singapore’s AI talent ecosystem — ensuring emerging methodologies are accessible, practical, and responsibly implemented.

Sustainable innovation depends on strong communities of practice.💙
