In the last 6 months, we worked with the generous contributions of our donors to support children and families affected by COVID-19. These contributions allowed us to respond rapidly and strategically to where the needs are greatest, to deliver timely and effective assistance to our vulnerable school communities.
Our Schools Initiative is funded entirely by voluntary donations and during emergencies, that need is even greater and more urgent. Together with our official charity partner, Entrepreneurs for Knowledge, we want to thank all donors for the contribution of over €36,000, which helped many families get through the most challenging times. In the last 6 months, we provided assistance to over 1,725 children from 853 families over 5 countries from our school communities!
With this generous support and timely funding, we were able to:
- Distribute emergency food packages
- Supply hygiene kits with information on handwashing and sanitation
- Support affected children with education kits

Your donation, no matter how big or small made an impact on our school communities’ health and education. When we worked together, we kept these children – those who have been uprooted by conflict, girls at risk of violence, and those whose parents struggle to maintain their livelihoods – healthy and safe so that they can continue learning.
