Project implementation
Nicaragua is currently ranked as the fourth least-developed country in Latin America on the UN Human Development Index. Poverty often comes with a lack of educational infrastructure for children. However, a basic education is essential for children and their families to break the cycle of poverty.
For years, villagers of Cano Los Martinez, Nicaragua have studied in a small wooden school prone to climatic vagaries. In 2021, 77 boys and girls started the new academic year in a safe and beautiful new school building generously donated by attendees of the Acronis Global Cyber Summit 2019.
The school now needs a computer classroom to enable computer literacy and STEM classes for students, helping them build the skills they’ll need to excel in the modern world. Support the computer classroom construction by donating today, and bring a brighter future to the kids in Nicaragua!
